Welcome to PracticeCelpip.com ("Site"), operated by Mido Technologies Inc. ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Site and any associated services, including our AI-powered tools that help users practice for the CELPIP English test.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Site. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

2. Account Registration

To access most features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Services and Payments

You may try our service once for free. After this, access is available via one-off payments (1-day, 1-week, or 1-month passes).

We use Stripe to process payments. All payments are subject to Stripe’s terms and policies.

No refunds are provided except as required by law.

4. Use of AI and User Content

By submitting practice test responses, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your submissions to provide feedback, improve our service, and enhance our AI systems. We use AI models (such as Google Gemini) and third-party services (e.g., Deepgram, Supabase) to process your content.

We do not store voice recordings. We store text responses submitted through the platform.

You retain ownership of your original content but acknowledge that we retain ownership over all feedback and outputs generated by our platform.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Site for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or replicate the AI feedback mechanisms.
Share or redistribute content generated by the Site without attribution or for resale.
Use bots or automation to create accounts or access content.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

7. Third-Party Services

We use services such as Deepgram, Google Gemini, Google Analytics, Supabase, Stripe, and others. We are not responsible for their services or policies. Your use of the platform may be subject to these third parties’ terms and privacy practices.

8. Data Deletion and Cancellation

You may cancel your account at any time. To request data deletion, email us at contact@practicecelpip.com. We will comply with your request unless retention is required by law.

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property, including branding, design, software, AI models, and generated feedback, is owned by Mido Technologies Inc. or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.

10. Accessibility and Limitations

Our platform is designed to support English language learners, but we do not guarantee error-free feedback or accessibility for all needs. We continuously improve our service but make no representations or warranties as to fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Our liability is limited to the amount paid (if any) for access to our services.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of laws principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Toronto, Ontario.
